Durante el confinamiento del 2020, Alan Del Castillo escribió y filmó su primer cortometraje como director, Kettling (Contención), en el que también actuó, ya que fue hecho en aislamiento total. Este proyecto recrea los estragos físicos y mentales que muchos sufren durante la pandemia de COVID-19. Kettling ha sido seleccionado y premiado en múltiples festivales nacionales e internacionales y actualmente compite por una nominación a la 63ª Entrega del Ariel 2021 de la Academia Mexicana de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas (AMACC).

During the 2020 lockdown, Alan Del Castillo wrote, starred and filmed his first short film as director, Kettling, done completely in isolation,  which deals with the mental and physical health struggles faced by many during the COVID-19 pandemic. Kettling has achieved Official Selection and won Awards in multiple film festivals and is currently on the 2021 longlist for an Ariel Award nomination in the Mexican Film Academy.
